African Children's Choir in Tulsa
We recently spent a fun afternoon in downtown Tulsa with our friends, the Warren's. First, we ate some yummy gelato at Mod's Coffee and Crepes...
Then we went to the First United Methodist Church to watch the African Children's Choir perform. We were pretty excited because the kids are from Uganda & we love to listen to Ugandan children sing and dance...
While there, I got to meet a facebook friend that adopted from Uganda, too, but just moved here from the Dallas area. We're hoping to hook up soon for a playdate with other local families that have adopted from UG, as well. So neat to have that UG adoption connection...
And after the concert we got to meet some of the performers. They did such an amazing job. I'm thankful for their sponsors and glad for their hard work and determination - I know it will take them far in life!

Asher's 4th B-Day!
Our little man, Asher James, isn't so little anymore! He just turned 4 years old and is getting so big!
He wanted to have a "Wild Kratts" birthday party because that is his ultra-favorite show on TV. He invited his closest friends - Mason, Cameron, Sammy, Mylz, Desmond, Isaac and Mary. So much fun...
We had a family party at Steve's parent's house and here we are singing to him at our house on his actual b-day...
Sure do love that big boy!
